Letters from Kelsey - 5

Querido familia y amigos,
Dear family and friends,

This was kind of a boring week. I really don't have anything exciting to tell you all. The days just keep going by and the weeks of me in the MTC are just melting away. A couple of you have asked so I will tell you all here. I leave the MTC February 8th. I have no idea on my flight or any other details about it then that it is February 8th- that day is circled with big stars on my calendar. Pretty mundane week- I looked back at my journal to see what I did this week to be able to tell you all and I really didn't do anything of importance... ha ha. Spanish is coming along- I have had moments where the Lord has blessed me and I have a split second where I know what it is like to talk in Spanish naturally. This week we are teaching the 1st lesson in Spanish- so aka we are done teaching in English! Scary I know!!! I am working hard on learning the doctrine because I know that the Lord with bless me with the Spanish to say if I know the doctrine and follow the promptings of the Spirit.

I hope you all had such a great holiday season and are now getting back into the groove of everyday life! To my family: Thanks so much for the pictures on Christmas! I miss you all so much! I'm not homesick but I do miss you all. Thanks to everyone for the letters. Letters are amazing- they are great confidence boosters to end the day. It helps my confidence to know that all of you support me and know I can do this! I know I can do it too, but I love you all so much and trust your opinions so if you say I can do it I totally know I can do it!
